A much bolder plant than Caltha palustris with striking, large, single yellow flowers that appear in early spring and continue for longer than other Calthas. Mature plants frequently have a few flowers throughout milder winters.
Little or no maintenance is required but you can remove dead leaves and flowers to tidy.
Plant in full sun to partial shade between 0cm and 20cm deep.
