Frequently Asked Questions
How should I organise my seed packets neatly to avoid missing planting dates?
The easiest way to stay on top of sowing times is by organising your seed packets neatly using card dividers or compartments. A calendar seed storage box is perfect for this. Just sort your seeds by sowing month, and you’ll always know what’s coming up next. It’s a simple way to avoid that sinking realisation when you’ve missed the perfect planting window.
Are most seed storage tins airtight and pest-proof?
Yes, the seed storage boxes in our collection are designed with a snug seal and protective powder coat. This helps block out moisture and keep pests well away from your seeds.
What’s the best material for a long-lasting seed storage container?
If you're looking for durability with a touch of style, go for galvanised steel with a powder coat or something classic like ball leather. These materials offer protection from damp and look great on the potting bench or even indoors.
