It’s great for digging if you like to use a stab-down-and-scoop-towards technique, moving soil quickly and efficiently. This small perennial spade is also perfect for the task of splitting perennial plants. The pointed tip slices easily through roots to divide into new plants, with minimal disturbance to the rest of the roots and plant. It’s perfect to use with raised beds too, extending your reach to avoid working at an awkward height.

The stainless steel head slides easily through the soil and is highly resistant to rust. For extra strength, the strapped socket is double riveted to the FSC hardwood shaft, creating a small but mighty digging tool.
