• 40% creeping red fescue

• 20% UK native species wildflower mix (containing autumn hawkbit, betony, birdsfoot trefoil, bladder campion, black medic, common daisy, common sorrel, common vetch, kidney vetch, lady’s bedstraw, hedge bedstraw, meadow buttercup, oxeye daisy, red campion, ribwort plantain, salad burnett, self heal, strawberry clover, wild carrot, white campion, wild marjoram, yarrow, yellow rattle).

You welcome bees, butterflies, beetles, and other small visitors. Each plant plays a small part in feeding or sheltering them. You help local wildlife without adding extra work to your week. You simply lay the turf, water it in, and let nature settle in.

Good for Soil and Roots

The mix contains deep-rooted species that help your soil stay open and healthy. These roots make channels that allow air and water to move through the ground. Helpful microbes and fungi gather around the roots, which keeps nutrients cycling in the soil. This natural process supports strong growth and stable ground. Your turf keeps its strength through dry spells and wet spells.

The turf comes treated with Rolawn’s ProFresh System. This helps it stay fresh after harvesting, so you install it in top condition. Each roll covers one square metre. A typical roll measures 610mm by 1640mm and weighs 15kg to 20kg, depending on how wet it is.

Easy to Look After

You can let the turf grow long for a meadow-style look. You can also cut it to around 35mm. If you want shorter grass, reduce the height a little by little. Take off one-third at a time to keep the plants stable. Always collect clippings so they do not cover the new growth. Install the turf as soon as you can. In spring and summer it should be laid straight away. In the cooler months, you have up to 24 hours.
