The Arisaema candidissimum also known as the Chinese Cobra Lily for its snake-like hood is a marvelous plant with a green cup-like flower with light pink inside and a small green spathe. This unusual plant does best in shady areas with plenty of drainage and a healthy amount of leaf mould to encourage growth. Once they are established in your garden they require very little attention aside from needing a bit of protection for very severe frosts.

The Arisaema candidissimum does best when planted through spring in March, April and May, it will then produce its iconic hooded flowers throughout the summer months. Once fully grown this plant can reach 30 to 40cm.
