The Anemone coronaria (De Caen Group) 'Sylphide', also known as a Poppy Anemone is a mesmerising plant with beautiful purple-pink petals with a dark centre. These beautiful flowers can be planted at many points throughout the year for different flowering times, September to November for March to April blooms or February to April for later blooms from June to July. These flowers stay relatively small, reaching 25-30 cm when fully grown.

The Anemone coronaria (De Caen Group) 'Sylphide' does best when planted in light sandy soil in the very brightest areas of your garden. They may need some protection from the cold in the winter and must be kept dry when dormant.
