The Anemone De Caen 'St. Brigid Lord Lieutenant', also known as a Poppy Anemone, is a truly enchanting flower with thin deep purple petals with a dark, button-like centre. These beautiful flowers can be planted at many points throughout the year for different flowering times, September to November for March to April blooms or February to April for later blooms from June to July. These flowers stay relatively small, reaching 25-30 cm when fully grown.
The Anemone De Caen 'St. Brigid Lord Lieutenant' does best when planted in light sandy soil in the very brightest areas of your garden. They may need some protection from the cold in the winter and must be kept dry when dormant.
