Description
The Allium tuberosum 'Cliffs of Dover', is a simple yet enchanting allium with umbels of star-shaped pure-white flowers. The Cliffs of Dover is an autumn bulb and as such does best when planted later in the year from September to December. The allium will then produce its simple, but stunning blooms throughout summer.
The Allium tuberosum does best when planted about 10cm deep in well-drained, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny area of the garden. Taller alliums like this one can also benefit from shelter on one side to help prevent the tall flower spikes from being blown over.
Planting Time: September - December
Flowering Time: July - August
