Description
The Allium neapolitanum also known as Neapolitan Garlic, is a stunning allium with pristine white flowers protruding from atop a tall garden spike. The Neapolitan Garlic prefers to be planted late in the year from September to November, it will then produce its beautiful white blooms in early summer.
The Allium neapolitanum does best when planted about 10cm deep in well-drained, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny area of the garden. Taller alliums like this one can also benefit from shelter on one side to help prevent the tall flower spikes from being blown over.
