The Allium karataviense 'Red Giant' is a suitably named large allium with deep red-pink umbels sitting atop a short flower spike. The Red Giant does best when planted late in the year from September to December. This beautiful plant will then bloom in late spring to early summer from May to June.

The Allium karataviense 'Red Giant' does best when planted about 10cm deep in well-drained, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny area of the garden.
