Allium altissimum also known as the tall onion is a beautiful flower with pink ball-shaped heads. The altissimum does best planted between October and November when it starts to get cooler. If planted in this time they will start blooming around May to June. The plant grows to a whopping 125-175cm when fully grown!

Does best when planted in drained fertile soil around 10 to 15cm deep. They prefer sunny areas with a sheltered side to prevent the tall flower spikes from being blown over.
