This plant is a valuable early season nectar source. Its unique flower shape is perfectly adapted for long-tongued pollinators. You will often see bumblebees visiting the blooms.

Planting Tips

Plant your Aquilegia in well-drained soil. It thrives in full sun or partial shade. This perennial will readily self-seed around your garden, creating naturalised drifts of colour. You can easily lift and move any unwanted seedlings.

Add this easy-to-grow perennial to your garden for a touch of classic charm and wildlife value.
