Anemone 'Frilly Knickers'

A clump-forming perennial that brings elegant charm to your garden from summer into autumn.

  • Ruffled, semi-double flowers open white and are softly flushed with pale lilac.
  • Each bloom features a bright yellow central stamen cluster.
  • The mid-green leaves are toothed and divided into three distinct lobes.

This plant reaches a mature height of approximately 60cm. It has a spread of around 50cm.

Wildlife Benefits

The open, pollen-rich flowers are highly attractive to bees and other pollinators. You will provide a valuable nectar source for them late in the season.

Planting Tips

  • Choose a spot with partial shade or full sun.
  • Plant in moist but well-drained soil.
  • Space plants about 50cm apart to allow for their spread.
  • Mulch annually in spring to conserve moisture.

This plant is also known simply as Japanese Anemone 'Frilly Knickers'.

Add this variety to your borders for long-lasting colour and wildlife activity.
