A small, bushy tree with a rounded form growing slowly. Luminous green stems produce lime-green leaves in spring that mature to bright green into summer. In late summer and autumn, the leaves turn orange and red before falling in late autumn. Inconspicuous clusters of small, green flowers are followed by red-green, winged seeds.
